Dining at the Supper Club

A night at the Supper Club is a musical and visual experience. The dining room also was able to transform into all colours of the spectrum and is a 'experimental crative platform'. Every evening every performace must be different.

We entered through a understated brass door on Harrison Street into an elegant waiting area draped in black velvet. We wander into the swank Le Bar Rouge for a drink, from where the hostess escorted us to our 'bed'. We found ourselves lounging against pillows. After several courses served by the 'unusual' wait staff, we raised our eyes to see an trapeze artist hanging from a swing in the centre of the room. I only wish I knew how to load the video I have to this website. We were later treated to another number of performance, which included myself being tied to the staircase and having my bum smacked be every member of the wait staff, before having a night cap and calling it a night there.

Courtney dropped William, Kevin and myself off in the Castro for one more drink, yeah right. We started at the Midnight Sun and there was not much action happening there. I think we were three of about ten in total. So off to the bar Badlands it was.

NOTE: I apologise for the quality of the photo's from inside the Supper Club. Using the flash on the camera only ruined the sense of the lighting in the place and I wsa trying to get across the whole atmosphere of the venue.
