Day 1 - San Francisco to Yosemite National Park

We travelled to Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada, with spectacular panoramas and mountain vistas. Highlights of the park included Yosemite Valley, its high cliffs and waterfalls and the Mariposa Grove, which contains hundreds of ancient giant sequoias trees, the world's largest living things. The area was home to American Indians for as long as 8,000 years. We overnighighted in Fresno.
