Chicago on a cold overcast day

During the week I took myself into downtown. Rob lives in way out in the burbs and the train trip is 1.5 hours each way. Rob had to go away for business over night so I used the time to go into town and wander around and stay overnight. It was overcast and cold, of all days to come into town when the rest of the week had been decent. I hadn't the chance to get to BoysTown in my last vist so after taking in paarts of the town I headed up there to catch up with the Chicago boys that came out to Sydney for Mardi Gras. It was a great relief to get back into society after spending so much time way out in the burbs. I had felt so isolated as there was nothing around me out there. No shops, no nothing.
