Its beginning to look a lot like X-mas
Jeff and I went shopping last Monday night for a x-mas tree. I've never had a live tree before, let alone shopped for one. Jeff just wasn't feeling the spirit this year, and there wasn't one ounce of tinsel in his house. Eventually after some discussion he was convinced to go out and get one. The excitement within him became obvious as he skipped into Home Depot with clasped hands. We walked through the rows of trees and finally made our decision. We bundled it into the back seat of his car, well half of it as the other half stuck out of the rear passenger window due to its size. We drove home via the back streets as one could see that it wouldn't be wise to take the interstate freeway with four foot of tree protruding from the side of the car. Once home the boxes of decorations came out and away we went with the decorating. There is at least 700 lights on this thing, and it does look fantastic. Not knowing where I'll be spending x-mas, as my dream of a white x-mas ended with my last trip to Chicago, and my back-up trip to Miami with friends looks like falling through, so I may be spending it alone somewhere, so its my x-mas now just in case.
