The shortest trip but the longest amount of time
By the time I finally got to the place where Rob was to pick me up, a taxi, a plane and two trains later, I had been on the go for about six or so hours. Kevin who flew to San Francisco was off the plane and in a taxi by the time I got off off the last train and was sitting at the station waiting to be picked up. I was over it and just wanted to relax. So there it was, my first opportunity to have that last smoke. So I did.
Rob came and got me and dropped me off at his place then when back to work for the next two hours. I crashed out on the sofa and was woken by Rob when he got home. We chatted and talked about the fact that he had to go to Cleavland the next day to sort some stuff out in regards to the house he is building for his mum, and did I want to go. There was no point me sitting around the apartment all day on my own. We were miles from the train station and the train trip was half an hour each way into downtown. I just couldn't be bothered, so I decided that it would be fun to go to Cleavland. So we bouhgt a ticket online, you tend to forget that if something looks cheap, by the time you add taxes and convert to Aussie Dollars, its really not that cheap as I learnt from looking at my credit card statment. Anyway I was there to spend time with Rob and that was the main reason for me buying the ticket. I had a great day with him and the fact that I spent that amount of money is not an issue in the end.
